Make a Fuss
Kate was the Feminist in Residence at the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre. The program, an Australian first, embedded a feminist thinker into the Centre’s community and supported Kate to create a project that responded to the Centre’s aims. Kate’s project ‘Make a Fuss’ invited women and gender diverse people to contribute craftworks that answered the question: what do you no longer want to be silent about?
Kate curated an in-person exhibition which featured 150 craftworks in various mediums, exhibited at the QVWC. Make a Fuss was also curated into an online walk through exhibition, in the context of the pandemic.
