Linden New art Play spacE

Make One, Take One

Make One, Take One invites gallery visitors to spend time in Linden’s Play Space creating a new artwork to display on the wall. In return, they can take home their favourite piece made by someone else.

Much like the Postcard Show, the Play Space highlights the wide-ranging and diverse nature of artistic expression, inviting hundreds of artists to showcase their mini canvases alongside one another.

Golden Exposure

Lane Cormick’s art explores process, participation, and repetition. Rather than explain what his work is about, he offers simple instructions and allows the making to unfold.

As part of this exhibition-long activity, visitors are invited to begin with a photograph, then use sparkle and colour to transform it. Each artwork is different, shaped by unique choices, ideas and instructions. But together, these differences create something bigger: a vibrant, collective artwork.

Just like Cormick’s artworks, this collective piece grows through collaboration. Visit the gallery to take part and add your voice.

If we never finish

Bernhard Sachs’ artworks weren’t made all at once—they evolved over time. Layers were built up, with dates added and overlapped to reveal a process of change and growth.

As part of this exhibition-long activity, visitors are invited to contribute to a collective artwork. Using stamps, shapes, and designs, you’ll leave your mark, adding to an installation that keeps evolving.

Like Sachs, we’ll create something that’s never truly finished—an artwork that grows and changes as more hands take part. Visit the gallery to join in and be part of the story.
